“Excel in Rare Diseases' Research: Focus on LYSOsomal Disorders and CILiopathies” (LYSOCIL) is a Twinning project in the rare diseases research area whose main goal is to reinforce the research capacity and innovation excellence in the study of lysosomal diseases and ciliopathies. The LYSOCIL project is coordinated by the Chronic Diseases Research Center, NOVA Medical School, Faculty of Medical Sciences (CEDOC-NMS | FCM), from NOVA University of Lisbon in Portugal in partnership with the Telethon Institute of Genetics and Medicine (TIGEM), in Italy and the University of Münster (WWU), in Germany. The LYSOCIL project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 811087. The LYSOCIL project makes its website (www.lysocil.com) available to its visitors (hereafter USERS).
SCOPE OF APPLICATION
Personal data shall mean information of any nature and support, including sound and image, related to an identified or identifiable singular person.
An identifiable person is considered identifiable, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identification number or to one or more specific elements of his or her physical, physiological, economic, cultural or social identity.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE TREATMENT OF DATA
The LYSOCIL project is the entity responsible for the collection and processing of the USERS´ personal data, deciding the categories of data collected, how it is processed and the purposes for which it is used.
TYPE OF DATA COLLECTED
The LYSOCIL project may collect the following data (a) name, (b) email, (c) telephone, and (IP) only and after obtaining consent, and these data will be processed in accordance with the law, in particular through the storage in duly secured and protected databases, and under no circumstances shall it be used for any purpose other than that for which the consent was obtained.
THE USER DECLARES TO HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS POLICY, CONSENTING TO THE PROCESSING OF HIS/HER DATA AS EXPOSED.
