“Excel in Rare Diseases' Research: Focus on LYSOsomal Disorders and CILiopathies” (LYSOCIL) is a Twinning project in the rare diseases research area whose main goal is to reinforce the research capacity and innovation excellence in the study of lysosomal diseases and ciliopathies. The LYSOCIL project is coordinated by the Chronic Diseases Research Center, NOVA Medical School, Faculty of Medical Sciences (CEDOC-NMS | FCM), from NOVA University of Lisbon in Portugal in partnership with the Telethon Institute of Genetics and Medicine (TIGEM), in Italy and the University of Münster (WWU), in Germany. The LYSOCIL project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 811087. The LYSOCIL project makes its website (www.lysocil.com) available to its visitors (hereafter USERS).

The LYSOCIL project is committed to protect the privacy of the website USERS. To this end, it has prepared this Privacy Policy in order to make public its commitment and respect for the rules regarding the privacy and protection of personal data that collects and treats, in compliance with personal data protection legislation.

You are advised to read this privacy policy in order to know and accept the conditions in which you make your personal data available and to authorize the collection, use and disclosure of the same in accordance with the rules set forth herein.


SCOPE OF APPLICATION

This Privacy Policy applies exclusively to the collection and processing of the USERS personal data by the LYSOCIL project for informational purposes, thereby allowing you to use the website expeditiously and without inconvenience.

The LYSOCIL project is the entity responsible for the collection and processing of the USERS´ personal data, deciding the categories of data collected, how it is processed and the purposes for which it is used.


TYPE OF DATA COLLECTED

The LYSOCIL project may collect the following data (a) name, (b) email, (c) telephone, and (IP) only and after obtaining consent, and these data will be processed in accordance with the law, in particular through the storage in duly secured and protected databases, and under no circumstances shall it be used for any purpose other than that for which the consent was obtained.


CHANGES TO PRIVACY POLICY

The LYSOCIL project reserves the right to readjust or amend this Privacy Policy at any time, and such changes will be publicized.


THE USER DECLARES TO HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS POLICY, CONSENTING TO THE PROCESSING OF HIS/HER DATA AS EXPOSED.
