Staff Exchange “Training on the analysis of lysosome morphological changes”
November 03-16, 2019 @TIGEM
This month, the LYSOCIL project promoted a staff exchange on analysis of lysosome morphological changes at the Telethon Institute of Genetics and Medicine (TIGEM) facilities in Pozzuoli, Italy. André Marques (Otília Vieira group), Cláudia Almeida, Cristina Escrevente (Miguel Seabra group), Liliana Lopes (Duarte Barral group) and Tatiana Burrinha (Cláudia Almeida group) received training on the analysis of lysosome morphological changes and their correlation with lysosome dysfunction. The main goal of this activity was to exchange knowledge on the state-of-the-art techniques for the analysis of lysosome dysfunction such as CLEM (Correlative Light and Electron Microscopy), lysosome purification and high content screening.
